Re: 59 Sport Suburban FOR SALE
Yes I do still have it. I am in Everett, Washington and close to 405 and I 5 so please let me know so I can be home. My cell is 425-530-0778. Early evenings are better in the week or a Saturday. Sunday we get home from church around 1:30 so that is also a good time.

Re: 59 Sport Suburban FOR SALE
Hi, it is in Everett, Washington, I am asking $1500.00 for it. The engine is the 318 V8 with power steering and auto trans. It has radio and heater but no other options. The engine starts right up and sounds good. The transmission goes right into drive and reverse with a nice feel however there are ...

On my 59 Plymouth with the 277 V8 are the valves adjustable on this engine and if so what are the settings and are they adjusted hot or cold ?
Thanks.

59 Sport Suburban FOR SALE
59 Ply wagon 12.jpg I have decided to sell my 59 Sport Suburban due to health reasons. This wagon needs restoration but it is solid and it runs very good. It has been sitting since 1994 but has very little rust. The floors are solid except the drivers floor and it needs to be replaced. The right fr...

Re: cardboard headlining in a 59 Suburban wagon
I was able to remove all of the headliner and without breaking anything like clips or the cardboard itself and now ready to repair the panels. Do you know if Dick Skinner had any pictures of the plywood strips that he glued to the panels ? It would be nice to see how he did that part. Thank you. Dic...

I think I know a guy that I used to work with who is an artist with metal and a torch so I will let you know how this works out. I guess the next question is where can I get a tank sending unit for the Suburban tank ?

Re: Suburban gas tank
Hi Dick, I have checked around and so far the cheapest I have found is a place in Seattle that charges $345.00 to do it and I just can't afford that so I will have to figure out something else.
Thank you for your suggestion.

Suburban gas tank
I was finally able to get the gas tank out of my 59 Suburban and sad to say it has a lot of rust and holes in it. I can't afford much for repairs to have it done so wondering if there is a safe way to repair it myself ? I wish I could afford to do better but I cannot.
