Re: 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury hardtop
Attached are just a few pictures of my 59 Sport Fury hardtop I am selling. I have many more pictures if anyone is interested. The dual 4bbl setup does not go with the car, and I have an intake, 4bbl carb, and air cleaner off of a 58 Plymouth 318 that does. The record player under the dash does not g...

1959 Plymouth Sport Fury hardtop
Hello, I will be selling my Sport Fury hardtop in the near future, and I wanted to let people know on here first. It is not listed anywhere yet. A little bit of information on the car is that it is white with the green factory interior which is very nice with no tears. The paint is nice and so is th...

59 Plymouth Jack
I have a 59 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible and a Sport Fury hardtop. The 2 cars came with different jacks. Can someone take a picture of the proper jack with base and handle that is correct for the 1959 Plymouth. I have some service manuals, but I did not see a picture in there, and my owners manua...

Re: Dual quads
John, Thanks for the pictures. Yes that helps a lot. My linkage does not appear to look like this. Do you have any other pieces of the side linkage, including pieces that may bolt to the throttle plates, or know any place that these can be obtained ?. I don't have any pictures of my setup presently,...

Re: Dual quads
John, I have a 318 dual quad setup that is currently on my 59 hardtop. The setup is real clean and was restored, but there appears to be something missing, or just not right where the linkage on the drivers side opens up the front carburetor. The setup works, but I never have opened it up due to the...

Anthony,
I would be interested in more information on your grandpas car, and pictures as well. I would be interested in looking at the car as well. I am not that far from you either.
Thank You

Rebuild kit or parts 3 speed manual
I am trying to find anyone who has either a rebuild kit or parts to rebuild a 3 speed manual transmission for a 59 Plymouth. Specifically bearings, seals, synchronizers, and gaskets. I have my transmission at a local shop and they are looking, but cannot find anything as of yet. I will try looking a...

Re: sport fury stainless side trim
Hi Roger, Thanks for taking the time to sort through, and draw up the layout of the trim. I have not had a chance to really go through my car and look at it closely. I am working all this weekend as well. It doesn't sound like the long lower quarter pieces you have are better than the ones I have. N...

Re: sport fury stainless side trim
Hi Roger,
Do you have the lower rear quarter panel stainless pieces in good shape for the Sport Fury ?. Exactly which other stainless pieces do you have ?. I will take another close look to see what I may need.
Thank You

Re: Various how to's and information request
Now I am confused, it seems like some cars have them in the door jamb and some don't . Do all cars have them on the firewall ?. Dan, your car also has a cowl tag, correct ?. My door jamb tag is not like that, it is a smooth shiny piece that uses the rivet holes to mount. The number is also similar t...

Re: Various how to's and information request
I have asked this question before, but not in the same way, and I never got a clear answer of which way it was. My question is on any 59 Plymouth, although I am specifically talking about Sport Fury convertible or hard top, Is there only the one tag on the firewall for the VIN. I know the tags are d...

Re: Rear window moulding clips
This sounds like the same clips Harvey Weaver was asking me about. He said there are 8, and they are for the bottom molding piece of the back window. Actually lays flat and the clips are through the metal between the trunk lid and back window. He is needing these as well.
