Thanks Dan from almost a charter member, I have made a lot of friends and sold a lot of parts through the years. I haven't been posting a lot lately, but I tune into the site daily and and enjoy the posts of others.

Welcome Luis,
I might add to John"s comments, these bolts will turn much easier if you jack up the front end of the car to take the weight of the bars.

We are going to attend the WPC National in St Paul MN on the way home, This is a joint meet with the National DeSoto club. We are staying at...

Re: CONVERTIBLE TOP COVER MOULDING AND LOWER DOOR LATCH.
Dick, the dark strip is what secures the top to the car, I would definitely use it. The stainless is just for trim. If one would ever want to remove the stainless to fix a dent of re polish it, you could do that without the top coming loose. Make sure the screws you use to mount the dark strip are v...

Re: radiator
If your radiator is original, I would advise you to re- core it. This way the inlet and outlet is in the right place as well as the mounting bracket holes. You would also have the period part # if you are working on originality. This is of course that the tanks are in good shape. I have done this fo...
