Gino-I dug it out and notice it has a new float, but the resistance reading aren't consistant. Probably why I elected to spring for a new one. Another option: NAPA may offer /used to offer fits all sending units. I've used one of them to success. The come in different ohms ranges and if memory serves me correctly you adjust the float assembly and travel. If the flange doesn't fit you can screw it/glue it maintaining the ground path .
