seat covers for sale

Hello, Some years back, the nice owner of Original Auto Interiors sent me several seat covers for swivel seats. I used one set, then the car was sold. I am left with three swivel seat bottom cushion covers and one swivel seat back cushion cover. They are in excellent condition. They are copper or br...

that littel vent window

sorry to hear the shaft broke off. You won't get it out without taking the inner panel off the door (maybe even more disassembly) because the shaft is held in a clamp with a screw, which would need to be loosened. Yes, I have the one dashvent louver in a bag, with the three holding clips. (Your Engl...

matthew, this is getting complicated! See Ebay Item 7901688339 for a good picture, although that part is not for 2 door hardtops. The pivot shaft is supposed to be welded to the trough. If yours is not (please post picture?), you need a new one. If all is okay, use clear silicone to glue rubber to t...

contacted SF owner in MN.

Hello List, A few weeks back I submitted a list of SF owners. The list was compiled years ago by Ken Jacob of Millville, MN. I have finally established e-mail contact with Ken, and he told me the following story regarding his SF convertible: "4 years ago the starter quit engaging the flywheel. ...

loose window

I believe I understand you now. Your piece of glass is not secure in the chrome trough. This is a common problem. Take the glass out, use some weatherstrip cement to glue the rubber to the metal, then more glue to glue the glass to the rubber. Problem solved.

vent window loose

The vent window sits in a metal trough. The trough has a pivot on its bottom, whhich runs down into the door. If it is loose, you must take the inside doorpanel off to tighten the clamps.

sf in Washington

I spoke to Jim Helm some years ago. I forget details now, but he was about to buy a group of four '59 Ply parts cars out of Southern Oregon, when he abruptly found a 59 Dodge convertible and followed that route. I ended up buying those parts cars. So now Jim is headed south to Texas. Well, good luck...

wingvent handle is loose

Hmm, I believe the handle is pegged to the pivot shaft (see the small hole with drift pin in the picture). If you could pull it entirely off, then epoxy it back on?
