Re: OE windshields
John, actually I was there in 08. My Belvedere radio does say DELUXE above the dial and my SF radio says PLYMOUTH. I don't know what the model numbers are, when I put them in I had more than one radio so I picked the best looking ones that worked. I did talk to Pilkington Glass and they don't have t...

Re: OE windshields
My windshield is separating on the right side. This flaw was in it when I bought it in 1998, but was about the size of a quarter and not too noticable. It was discounted because of this and I was OK with it for several years. It has started to grow and is becoming very noticeable. The bubble in the ...

Re: OE windshields
I have been trying to contact Timo Tanskanen about his windshields for our cars, and was finding the phone number out of service. I called my good friend Merle Wolfer and he gave me this phone # 951 687 6579 This is the same number but the area code was changed a few years ago and Timo had little su...

Re: parts Identification?
Hi Roger, The white part with the notch is the piece than terminates the interior roof rail to the header. The notch goes around the windlace. This is a right side piece The wing nut holds down the spare tire, using the jack base as a washer The piece with the point is a interior roofrail coat hook ...

Re: a variety of things
Ron, it appears from the the photo that you slid the trim onto the clips from the front. I have put these on cars many times by hanging the piece in place on the top of each clip and snapping it onto the bottom part of the clip. Do the snapping one at a time by pushing in and down. I mount the clips...

Re: Pix from Ellensburg
The coasting drag race consisted of accelarating from a dead start about 20 yards and as your front tires crossed a flat fire hose, which you could feel, you put the car in neutral, and without using any brakes, coast for 100 yards. The winner was the car that would come to a stop the closest to the...

Thanks Roger for the photos, you took more than I did. Some of mine would be duplicates so will add these. P1010070.JPG Wil Eichelberg, Roger Howard, Tom Fox, Lanny Knutson, Don Mack and Marge Hudak. We made Roger stand in the back because he forgot his shirt. Lanny Knutson is the editor of the Plym...

Re: Pinging
Hi Bob, I believe you are on the right track, it sure sounds like a timing issue. The vacuum advance is definitely a suspect. If it checks out OK, then set your disributor to the specified timing and mark the cap to the distributor housing in some way, maybe with a couple pieces of masking tape. The...

Re: Engine / Drivetrain alignment
Hi Dan, For sure these engines are offset to the right, as John Q points out for a variety of reasons. The reason I have know for years, is its make the u-joints flex and distribute the wear. If they ran in a straight line they would tend to not rotate and hammer the same spot. This thought has been...

Re: Ray Woodbury's Belvy up for sale
The first photo is on Friday when we toured the pits, and watched the time trials. The last three photos were the big boys on Sunday and the weather was very nice. some sun and no rain. The Nationwide race on Saturday was cold and windy, with a delayed start because of the rain. It did start raining...
