Re: The Convertible
I know Rick, I should have the 413 dual four barrel intake repaired shortly and will work on getting the two Carter AFB's I have rebuilt. So I should have my 300E conversion on my 413 done by May. Now that the snow has abated and warmer weather ahead, I will be able to get the 59 out and about again...

Re: Padded steering wheel center wanted
Not as of yet, I have my original center piece (now unpadded and in bare metal) and have not spent the time to see if I can put some foam on it and put fabric over it yet.

Re: PUSHBUTTON SHIFTER.
Mark - Strangely the buttons protrude the same amount from the faceplate and have a definite click or clunk when engaged unlike Charlene that has no feel when pushing reverse or neutral but is in gear. Drove the Convert 40 miles to a show yesterday in neutral with no problems. Merry Christmas, Dick...

Re: Marks winter of "59"

I wish I could say that would be my final one but my Doc said I would be back to see him again, sometime in the the next couple of years as more and more Disc's in my back start go...

Yeah, looking at my post I don't know what I meant by Check Pin, but it was the way you rolled the fabric in to the Horizontal bar (pinning it) but I will figure it out..Dick Koch wrote:Duh! Wa chu talkin bout "check pin". I really don't remember how I secured it, sorry.

Dick, having stood in your garage and seen the plethora of spare parts you have in inventory, You would be treated as a Parts God to what they have to endure.

I love watching Cuban Chrome on the Velocity. I feel so sorry for them on what they have to do to get one of these cars up and running with parts from any car they would somehow make it work it their cars.

Thanks Mr. Rick! For your Mathematical Calculations. Rick use to race so he would know. I forgot about the Altitude adjustment features to equate them back to Seal level performance. I would have had to take off my socks to count my toes for that stuff! :P Rick was at this same Mopar's at Thunder Mo...

Thanks John! Got it back on Saturday evening and it felt good to drive her again! I was worried that the top may have shrunk a bit with it being down for 3 mos, but she close right up with out a hitch. Took her to a Mopar show today and took runners-up in my class to 58 Dodge Sweptside PU. No worrie...
