Re: Happy Anniversary!
Whoa, Bernie, no kidding on this? I guess I have a seive memory...I really appreciate hearing this. Y'all know I was forced to sell my 59 when the economy tanked...and at this point I am in no position to get another, but I am still orbiting this site ...

Re: window crank-door handle removal
Hey that's great! The removal procedure is difficult to describe, and I am a "visual" guy anyway-the photos were my "words".

Shiny! I like the bare bones look, including the blackwalls, on this particular car.

Re: Cooling issues
Dick makes good sense, as always.
The fan is too far from radiator to be effective, but I am not a grease monkey, and can't advise you on which might work better...twin electric fans, shroud or spacer. Seems to this carpenter that the electric fan idea would be simplest to do.

Re: My Kingdom for Interior Paint Chips (or shell green samp
Pardon the following dumb questions: Isn't there a good possibility the color chip samples (if you could find one) would also have faded? Can't you take your information and request to an automotive paint supplier and ask them to look up the mix? It's been several years since I ventured into an auto...

Europe is a big place! Your first post, 10 Dec. 2012, you asked what engine is in a Kingsway!

Re: lenses and stop lights
A song from Sound of Music just started in my head:
Let's start at the very beginning!.."
Very exciting!
I am guessing you are from Quebec, and that your project is a Kingsway...?

Re: FREMANS AUTO SALAGE
Freman is in his 70's. He recently married. His yard was a mess, and many of the cars were well picked-over. His "help" wasn't very good. He had to close down each winter.
Nevertheless, it bothers me that Freman didn't even attempt to hold any sort of auction.

Re: The Convertible
The "scratch" on the passenger front fender top was caused by me, in my garage. I was relaxing with a few beers, when I decided it would be a good idea to take down a cabinet I had screwed to the wall. Yup, I dropped it on the car. The hood dents were evidently caused by some jerk who deci...
