I never installed the Eye because it seemed to require a right-angle drill motor to make the hole- (windshield is in the way).

Tom, is that your new windshield?

No, the new windshield is going in the Belvedere convertible. It is here and I have the old one out, but need to clean up the rubber seal before I put the new one in.

Sorry, you DID post that the Eye was in your SF. I didnt put 2+ 2 together.
Hey, why not take pics and give the rest of us a vicarious education on how to R&R a windshield? You could post it in a new thread for posterity...are you gonna use the ripcord trick, as shown in the shop manual?
