Victor - Great pictures of things to come for me on my Belvie Convertible. I love the detail, I hope you send a lot more pictures of the floor replacement expecially the brackets under the seat panels. Beautiful work.
Thanks,

Howdy

Yes Dick I will send thru pics as we are doing the floors

Here is another update. My plan of attack is to now work on the chassis

I aim to have a rolling chassis with motor and trans rebuilt and then brought back to the workshop to have the body lowered onto it

Here's hoping anyway

Stay well all

Cheers

Vic

Hi John

If only I could be so good. The work you see is that of my coach builder, Mark Stidwell

He is a magician in my mind and as fussy as I am with regards to the end product

Thanks for the kind words

Cheers

Vic - Your sheetmetal man is an artist. My guy is good but not as detailed as your guy. I have all the floors in and the suspension completed. Will send pictures soon.

Cheers Dick

I actually spoke to Mark today (my coach builder) and it turns out he still uses the oxy for most of his welding

Hope to be doing some work on the floor this weekend

Cheers John

How is your project coming along, always keen to see what your up to.

Was working on the car this weekend - mainly the floors - getting it ready to do more cutting out.

I have replacement panels, however was thinking of maybe using a 4dr Pillarless floor to do the back half.

To all out there, is it my eyes or is the rear quarter panel on the driver side different to the passenger side. My coach builder put the ground coat on the drivers side rear qrt and I noticed quite a distinctive crease in the panel just to the rear of the petrol filler cap region and just before the main circular emblem.

The passenger side is no so obvious as the one on the driver side - is this correct??

Some more pics of my weekends endeavours - boy do i hate scrubbing the old tar off!!

Cheers

Vic
