My desktop finally gave up, so I awaiting new laptop and data transfer. Meanwhile I battle with this smartphone. Dick has now sent me two emails with no content. What's going on?

He has nothing to say?.... Probably an attachment that went awry...But there would have been text to describe any missing attachment... I will call him on Saturday to find out about the emails to him and life in general.
