Well, Faulkner got a transfusion this morning (oil change) and a spanking new PortaWall. He's all hosed down and ready for Carlisle.
Ken Morton and I got are signals crossed - he thought I was going this morning, but I don't leave until tomorrow morning. I'll meet up with him tomorrow. And I was going to meet Earl on the Pennsy Turnpike in one of his '59s, but he decided to bring his '33 Coupe instead. So I'm not sure how many '59s will be represented this year.
It was fun getting Faulkner ready, but I'll admit to feeling a bit sad about going out myself. I wish you were still here, Matthew! Oh, well - Dick and John Q. have both sworn on their Exners that they'll be trailering in next year, and hopefully Ron and Marjo will come and stay. I'll be thinking of you all, and taking pix.

Well, I just missed Ken Morton, who went out on Friday and decided not to come to the fairground Saturday, it was so hot. But I did catch up with Jim Hamsher, who did see Ken on Friday. So, if Jim and Irene get around to emailing me some pix, I'll Photoshop the three of us in a group pic!
There were a couple other '59's at the show - the pix will tell the story. Faulkner ran strong all the way out and back, and I didn't lose a PortaWall this time! I guess, because I kept it between 65 and 70...
