"I retired in spring of 2007 and with time on my hands I started looking through 'Trader' magazines, Hemmings, classified ads, and surfing the Internet. This is how it came to be that I spotted a '59 Belvedere on eBay. 1959!!! Well , if I can't find a '58, I could be happy with a '59! I studied that item on eBay over and over, and the statement 'all original' is what really was important to me. Nine days later I made a bid near the end of the auction, and suddenly my computer screen lit up and said 'Congratulations. The item is yours. Please pay now'. I was ecstatic, but nervous about purchasing a car unseen."

This pic is from the original eBay auction in September of '07. Here's how the post read:

1959 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE SPORT 2DR H/T

"Original 318 Big Block, original 3-speed push button torque flite transmission, all original car glass. Floor and trunk rubber carpet and floor mats are original (59 Chrys. product). Spare tire appears to be original, original jack, original washer bag, original continental kit on trunk, original sport steering wheel, original sport bumpers.

When I purchased the car, I was assured by Robert Jones that this is an original matching #s car and it appears to be one. When purchased, it had some faded spots due to amateur buffing.

The car was purchased in April, 1960 by Mrs. Felicia Wojtasiak. She drove it until early 70s, then gave it to her son who stored it in a barn. Two years later he died from a bee sting and his family did not go near the car for approximately 30 years.

Robert Jones' father purchased the car from the Estate in 2004 and gave it to Robert. Robert was not financially able to restore it as he intended to do. I purchased it from Robert in 2006 and restored the necessary items as described on eBay.

This is the history of the car to the best of my knowledge."
