Tom writes, "I've brought
the car home to Ennice, N.C. where I live which is in Alleghany County. I
appreciate any help with parts. There are a few items I need
which were removed from the car, mostly a couple of interior dash pieces,
handbrake
and three pieces of chrome and the tailights need to be replaced. I have
found a friend with a 57 convertible who can help me get new brake system
parts, weatherstripping and things for the drivetrain. I recently found out
that my car has the wide block 318 engine, 2 speed push button transmission
and a few extras that were available on the fury for that year.
I don't know much about the history of the car except that
it came from somewhere in Georgia, and the guy I bought it from had stored
it
under
shed
for ten
or fifteen years after bringing it to North Carolina. Now, it resides in
the mountains of Alleghany, NC."
