This is what the Belvedere
looked like (below) when I drove it home in September of 1994, and
after I
removed all the chrome strips. The car originally came from Kentucky
and I
am probably the second owner. There was only 62,000 original miles
on
it at that
time.

I managed to find the exact "original" color
- peach body with white top.
You can see that there isn't a whole lot of rust or deterioration on the car,
front and rear. Both front and rear bumpers have been re chromed. I did remove
the continental kit on the deck.
This is the Edelbrock Pro-Flo Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection system
I reworked to fit the factory M1 intake manifold.

The engine is a Mopar crate motor, 360 c/i,
380 horse. It has a 518 automatic transmission, four speed overdrive with
external spin on oil filter and cooler, all new from Chrysler. It has a Mallory
Edelbrock fuel injection distributor with ignition amplifier. A Flo-Master
exhaust system, front disc brakes and Ford 9" disc brake rear end all
with power assist. Standard steering (no power assist).

Last May [2005] we went
to the Route 66 Fun Run in Kingman, Arizona. It was a lot of fun and
got
a
good response with the car. I averaged eighteen to twenty miles per
gallon.

An old gas station at Hinckley,
Arizona. You can see how nice the car looks with the paint job and
all the chrome attached.

The seat covers and carpet
are new from J. C. Whitney's. The rest of the interior is completely
stock. I've had the original speedometer and gauges reworked.
This is one neat car and I've really enjoyed working on it and especially driving
and showing her. It always grabs attention no matter where you are or what
is going on.
