I think both can be performed on the lift pan is easier when the trans is removed.

The 3/8" belt is thinner and lower in the shieve groove, making it less reactive to small imperfections, less HP to drive. Worth a try.

I have used marvel oil for decades, with good results. free up stuck engines, engine flush, air tool lube and oxidization remover.

Install a 3/8" belt, Gates or Dayco, re-tension and I think your problem will cease. Rick

This was the original engine for Kevin's Challenger. The over bore is .030 or 3.94 and the new stroke is 4.0 original is 3.31. Mopar performance or Direct Connection crankshaft was utilized.
