Re: Drive belt wobble
Man that is a nice looking 318.
I will check tightness. I don't like the fact the alternators on a large arm that I think might even have some give when you really tighten the belt. I will also check the alternator pulley.
Thanks guys.

Imagine that wobble being 20-30 times faster as the camera smooths it out so to speak.

Re: Drive belt wobble
Hi Dan.
Yes, it's been upgraded to an alternator. Unfortunately I've taken video but the vibration doesn't show on video well at all.

Drive belt wobble
Does anyone else see significant belt wobble on their 318's? I'm seeing a significant wobble l from the alternator to crankshaft span.
Just wondering if it's normal because it's quite a long run.

Hi Matthew,
Did you replace the axle and diff as well?
Or is this job just dealing with the hub?

Turn signal problem
Hello everyone.
Have this issue where left turn cancels too quickly, right works well.
I have attached videos showing that the cam puts pressure on the finger with the spring, but the finger doesn't spring, it just hits the cam and cancels.
Ideas?

Hello everyone. I have attached the model plate. I still cannot figure out what exact model or car is and what engine package it is for that model. Essentially what I'm trying to figure out is if we have a normal base model fury, or a sport fury, or if our car is a mish mash with emblems and options...

I'm curious if a different distributor from another year will fit or can be interchanged with this engine.
