Nope - Mine measure the same as yours. All you need is a coupling nut and a short piece of threaded rod. At my ACE we have coupling nuts up to 3/4" and threaded rod 3" and 6" long or longer.

One post on the solenlid has a wire to the nutral safety switch.

You can get split wire loom to run the wires thru to the regulator, it's black and corrugated and looks real good runs from 3/8 to 1" i.d. We have it at ACE.
