Schaeffer and Long

Post by Faulkner »

Yesterday, after fighting with the parking brake on Faulkner, I gave Bill Walsh a call -- the guy who put it in. He agreed to take a look at it, so we drove over to Voorhees, NJ. Bill put a couple of floor jacks under the passenger side and lifted Faukner off the ground, climbed under and adjusted the Bendix; seems to be working just fine now.

We spent some time chatting, and Bill asked if we'd like to visit Schaeffer and Long, an antique auto restoration company where he works:

What a trip! Fred Hoch, the current owner, takes on many different projects, but specializes in Mercer Automobiles. The company produced autos at the turn of the last century in Trenton, Mercer County, NJ and were known for their speed.
