Hello Matt! Welcome to the Forum! We have a Forum Member, John Fowlie, who's Forum Handle is "Big M". John has a Forward Look/Classic car salvage yard in Williams, CA.

John can hook you up with just about anything 59 Plymouth. Here is his web site to go to: www.bigmauto.com

He should have your buttons for you...On your wants next time, please put them under the "Wanted" part of the Forum instead of the 'For Sale" part. We figured out that you needed buttons and not to sell some buttons.

Have you posted any pictures of your car yet? If you have some...Please post them under 'Show your Ride" part of the Forum. We all would like to see your 59.

Thanks!

Thanks John Q., but I don't think he had the buttons. I've emailed him a couple times. I'll pay attention better next time when I post things. I'd really hate to ruin my all original 59 by going to a floor shifter, but I'm not sure what else to do

Don't go for a floor shifter. We all keep our eyes open in case we find anything for you.

Do you have any info about your car and we love pics :D

I just posted a pic in the show your ride section, I'll have more posted as I take them. I have the cable hooked up to the shifter module and can manipulate the gears with my finger for now, but I'd like to be able to mount it to the dash at some point.

Mat, I will check my stash too for any left over Transmission PB's to help out, Do you have the Aluminum Bezel that the PB's go thru on the dash? I just saw one on E bay if you don't. I will dig up that link and post it for you and all.

I found the aluminum bezel, it has 4 holes, that's a 2spd identifier, isn't it?

4 is indeed a powerflite. 5 holes is a torqueflite.

I have no idea how you can identify the transmission itself as a PF or TF

The felt gasket that goes with it has 5 holes in it, but the bezel has 4 holes, I'm going to do some more snooping around to see if I can find a part Number on the trans.
