Greetings eroomas!

Post by Faulkner »

This from "eroomas", from Springfield, IL - perhaps you can tell us a bit more about yourself? And don't forget to send Matthew your VIN!

eroomas - Dan started this site and is our GURU and computer expert. Your car is outstanding, we don't see many 4 dr. hardtops so it's rare I would say, but I love the 4 drs. As to your question about the exhaust the general rule of thumb is:

A 318 with a two barrel carb. has single exhaust, 230 HP.
A 318 with a four barrel carb. has dual exhaust, 260 HP. and called a power pack.
A 361 with a four barrel carb. has dual exhaust, 305 HP, and called a 395 Golden Commando. The 395 refers to the Torque the engine puts out at 3,000 RPM.

What can we call you besides eroomas unless thats your real name.

Hi Andy - I thought I recognized your car. I have been looking at it for a long time on http://www.carsonline.com. Believe me you got a good deal. If I had more garage space and a different wife I would own it.

John - Yvonne is long term and I wouldn't have it any other way. But whenever I say "I really like that car" she raises that hump on her back and kinda gives me that snarlley side way look. Youknowwhatimeandon'tyou.
That "look" told me if I wanted to buy the Belvedere Convertible I needed to sell something i.e. the 63 Galaxie.

I realize I'm meant to put in my own post to introduce myself, but since it's for the same car, I'll just do it here ... I'm Andy's wife, Christine. Nice to meet everyone! :D

Nice to e-meet you, Christine! Don't mind Dick and John's chatter about trading in wives for cars - they don't really mean it.

I think...

Thanks John, I like her alot too, I noticed someone else on this site posted photos of their fury that looks almost identical to mine except it has dual side view mirrors and the rear mounted dual antenna.
