Announcing 59forum upload capability!

Post by Faulkner »

Longed for the opportunity to attach your own images to your posts? Now you can! The attachment mod has been added to the board. Simply press the browse button below the post window (in the "Add an Attachment" section) to select the image file from your computer. Then, press the "Add Attachment" button, and finally submit your post. It's easy! And here's an inaugural post: A welcome to C-E Aberg from Sweden, and his beautiful '59 SF. Look for it soon in the showcase!

Dan

Note: Folks, it seems that I still have a way to go with the attachment upload. It's still buggy... Sorry for the false start, I hope to have better news soon. For now, I'm going to disable uploads until I can sort it out.

Dan

OK, I think I found it! A bad configuration setting.... Let's see how it works. Matthew, go to it!

I should add: If your picture is larger that 12K bytes, the board will automatically create an icon and display that instead. Simply click on the icon and display the full picture. Click on C-E's icon, and see what I mean!

OK, here's another teaser (while I'm playing with my new toy): Davy Borghys' '59 wagon, recently acquired from "Travis Riverland". Look for more pix of Davy's car in the showcase soon!

Updated the permissable size of attached images

OK, since my own image was rejected as being too big, I relaxed the restriction -- instead of 800x800, images may now be up to 1280x1024. Howzat?
