How cool is this! Not directly '59 Plymouth related, so it goes here - but, instead of "Much Ado About Nothing", we should have a "This Is A Pretty Big Deal" section. Here's a contract for employment from September of 1948 between the Chrysler Corporation and Joseph Charles Clapham, Ricky MoPar's father. Rick just came across it in some of his father's papers. And check out the signature at the bottom - none other than that of Frederick Morrell Zeder, lead man in "The Three Musketeers" of Chrysler Engineering, stolen from Studebaker/Willys by Walter P. Chrysler in 1924. You can read all about Fred Zeder here. Zeder was a month shy of 65 when a massive heart attack took him out in 1951, a little over two years after he put his name to this contract along with that of Rick's father.

Thanks for sharing, Rick!
