In years gone by, Curt Lambdin had brought his own '59 Savoy to Carlisle. Not this year, but Curt made the trip this summer to finally meet up with Jim Rawa, whose automotive engineering skills and craftmanship he has long admired.
There was another '59 Plymouth at Carlisle - a wagon, for sale in the Car Corral. Will Walker wanted it badly - even had a trailer lined up to bring it back his way in California - but the seller would not budge from his ridiculous price. Too bad for Will, and for the seller - he ended up dragging it back home from whence it came. One wonders if it will end up selling for less than what Will had offered...
All good things must come to an end - and so we head home.
